St. Patrick's day and Holi. One day to get drunk and blottoed on and on to do a color fight in the name of God. Wow!!!!! I wish that i was in india singing Ang Se Ang from the movie Darr. Bollywood Fans who are loyals will know who i mean........

I know that have talked about St. Patrick's day and Holi. However, March holidays without the festival of Purim. The festival of Purim is based on the bravery of a couragous woman named Hadassah who is also known as Esther. The festival of Purim is fun and very beautiful. On Purim, you get ot wear costumes , give food gifts and give tzdukah which means charity in hebrew. On the night of Purim, the megilla of scroll of Esther is read in the synague....... when the name haman is read the congregation boos and uses groggers to drown his name. This is done because haman plotted to kill the jews in shushan by building gallows that stood fity feet high....... but with the help of God, Esther was brave and willing to go to the king on her people's behalf. This ended up with haman and his family being hanged by the same gallows that he built. So when you think of March holidays, think of Purim and to find out more about purim read the book of Esther and contact your local Rabbi.
